This SundayÝis the beginning of Black History month.Ý Among other things, most of our hymns will be from the African-American tradition [we may have to put up with a few of those Euro-American ones!]

I'm trying [not just this month] to use as wide a variety of hymns as possible.Ý Occasionally there's a dud.Ý I am always open to suggestions of hymns you would like to sing, and I keep a list of possibles.Ý It is not always easy to match hymns with the theme of the Lectionary passages or the sermons, but I will do my best.

Reminder:Ý we will be receiving new members on Sunday, February 18th.ÝÝÝPam Sharrow & I will meet with any prospective members during [& after] Coffee Hour on Feb 4thÝ[&Ýthe11th if needed] - Phil Olsen
