Stephanie
Rochelle
initially joined the Fort Street staff as temporary bookkeeper
on January 12, 2004, filling in for Ramona Denk.
Stephanie
brought twenty years of administrative experience and five years
of bookkeeping experience with her. She looks forward to the continuing
challenge of organizing and managing the Church’s financial
records.
Stephanie
is the oldest of six children. At age seven, her family moved
to Chicago, Illinois. She graduated fourth in her class from Hyde
Park Career Academy, attended Kennedy-King Community College,
where she majored in Liberal Arts, and was a continuous Dean’s
List student. In addition, she served as Choir Member, Youth Advisor,
Dance Choreographer, and Girl Scout Leader (Seniors) at Bryn Mawr
Community Church, for three years, and at the Church of the Good
Shepard.
Stephanie
moved to Detroit in 1990. While pursuing an administrative and
bookkeeping career, she was graduated from Baker College in Auburn
Hills, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Underneath
her mild demeanor, Stephanie is a diligent worker, who enjoys
challenges and meeting new people, and she has a great sense of
humor. In her spare time, she attends Word of Faith International
Christian Center, located in Southfield, Michigan, actively volunteers
in the Metropolitan Detroit community, reads faith-based enriched
novels, enjoys cooking, attends major entertainment events, and
spends quality time with friends and family.
She
looks forward to continuing to experience a spiritually rewarding
career as Bookkeeper here at Fort Street Presbyterian Church.
